The ******* wagon

Recently bought this back from my sister. It's been in the family since it was new. My grand parents bought it back in 1999. Its a mercury tracer. It has leather seats(rare) and here's the kicker. It only has 70k miles. Unfortunately my sister didn't take the greatest care of it. They got the car about 5 years ago with 12,000 miles on it. I bought it for my fiance to drive.

Going over to HozII's house thursday to do a good detailed cleaning inside and out. I'll also be putting new tires on it that day too.

It needs a serious detail. When I got it it hadn't been washing in who knows how long. Then the last couple months i've had it it was parked under a tree lol.

Fusion is my moms, mustang and ranger are 5spd and then i have my dads f150. My fiance doesn't even have her license. I'd rather her start on a cheap car then on one of the really nice vehicles. I bought this for her to keep at her parents house. I wasn't about to leave any of the nice vehicles over there. Not to mention why does it matter how many cars I have? Just because I enjoy them and they are a hobby doesn't mean it matters how many I have. It's not like it effects you. I have a roof over my head and everything paid for. If you have an issue with me owning as many vehicles as I do or want. Then that is your own problem.

I don’t care if you own a car lot, it is your money. I just thought it was weird you don’t let your fiancé drive one of your other vehicles. I didn’t need an explanation, but I guess it makes sense.

wow, it wasn't a hit about how many cars you have, i could care less about that.

It was more to the fact that your future wife gets a used 99 wagon while you drive 3 nice vehicles. I understand the new driver thing, and I hope she gets an upgrade once she is more experienced and married in your own house.

Personally, I started off in a wagon back in the day (92 Taurus), it does wonders for your maneuverability, if you can learn to drive something that long, you can drive anything

Sorry guys didn't mean to sound like i was snapping. I had a short time to respond I was leaving to go see Jeff dunham. She has driven them before, but this is HER car and her first car that is her own. I would never put someone in there first car if it was new or worth a lot. We all know the statistics on first time drivers. Heck my first vehicle was a $500 85 s10 lol. She will get an upgrade after she has been driving a few years. She will get the fusion. My mom doesn't want here driving it now. We spent 30k on it lol. First vehicle I drove was a 96 windstar and even though it wasn't the "coolest" I'm glad I learned on it. Makes driving anything else much easier.

Its still in great shape and extreme low miles for the year. So it is a newish wagon. I was looking for something in the 2k range and why would I get something that I knew nothing about the history. Not to mention we all know most cars worth that have 150k+ miles. So I know I have a car that can last a long time. How many people got the first car and it had leather to boot? lol.

Dude I'm not a pedophile lol. I'm 26 and she's 21. Her parents cant afford to buy her a car. Her mom is disabled and her dad doesn't make a whole lot of money. Reason she doesn't have her license is because she has been taking care of her mom fulltime since she was 16.
