Sorry Guys, Wasn't Able To Find a Ranger, My New Ride...

Well I wasn't able to find a Ranger in the condition I wanted nor the price. No one wanted to negotiate. So I went to the battered new car industry. Got a really good deal on this. Enjoy.

PS: I have already added exhaust and tinted windows.

I think 0-60 is 5.6 seconds. As for the top speed, I'm not sure. Speedo only reads 150.

That and 300hp instead of 225. Better suspension, better tune. Just a better car.

Nice wrx man. Still not a big fan of the new styling, but its not terrible either.

I was going to say. It actually has 40 more horsepower (the normal WRX has 265, the STi has 305).

I didn't want a new Ranger. I wanted a 2003 twin shifter Level II. There were a couple in my area, but none that were reasonably priced. All were 14k plus. I'm not paying that much for a truck that old. I had 9,000 to put down cash, after my Prelude was paid off with the other 1,500. I wasn't going to settle for a Ranger I didn't want, so I did the next best thing. I bought the car I have always wanted. I wanted something with good gas mileage and 4 door, the performance was just a bonus : ) Either way, with 400 miles already on the WRX I'm getting about 24 mpg.

I bought the SPT catback system. It is made by Subaru and lets you retain the factory warranty. According to Subaru:
"The new stainless steel exhaust system replaces the stock WRX center pipe and rear muffler assembly with a smooth flowing, low restriction, better-sounding exhaust note, plus a 10 horsepower increase. Available as a factory installed option. "

However, I just purchased it from a dealership in GA for $333.00 under a Subaru promotion. Excellent price I might add, for a full catback!

Very sexy love the car. I have always loved them and my next project when I finish the Ranger is to build a 98 Subaru Impresa RS to be like a STI. I am going to buy the all of the Japanese body pieces but put the new STI motor in it.

Wow, that's sick. I'm a little confused on how you go from looking for a Ranger to that though...
