Spindles, New toy, and mods to come!

well, a week and a half ago i did spindles on my truck and was going to do drop shackles for the rear, but due to my leafs being shot all the shackles did was bend my leafs down and provide 1/2" of lift. fail. so i was sitting SoCAL until today.

it was worse then the pic shows, that lot is on a downhill slope, the front was about 2" higher.
but yesterday i picked up this new toy

it made doing the rear pretty damn easy, i had to go stacked blocks for now, but i'll be saving for superlift softrides! (6" so i can ditch my leafs/AAL/stacked Blocks)

the block is tapered to correct driveshaft angle, and i must say, it worked pretty damn good.

here is how she sits now, i'll have more/better pics coming soon, i gotta go to work though :(

and here is what i plan to be doing this weekend.

i want to find a blue plastic cover instead of that green, so if anyone wants to trade, or knows the part # so i can stop by ford, let me know!

:) busy times busy times. im really liking where it sits now though, time to start getting some more power into it!

Like it all minus the 1995 Roll bar in the bed. You should really paint the frame and inner fenders black

I had to put an AAL in them last winter because they were bent over the overload springs, and that was with nothing in the bed, no cap, no roll bar, no spare tire or anything. it sucked and rode like a flinstone car. the AAL actually made the ride so nice haha. but yeah, thats what was wrong with it, Ford said it was normal (just like my tires with the 17 bulges/dents were normal) but oh well.
i'll be saving for softrides, actually i just found out today my moms friend owns one of the only spring shops in a 45 mile radius so i may pay them a visit

therangerofdanger thanks, but smakes sent me a display already
