I wish it was that simple. Getting the rear tires past the tailgate supports was my show stopper. Having to lift the rear of the quad over the tailgate was kicking my a$$ every time I wanted to ride, then putting it back into the bed after a long day of riding was to much.
Now with the rack I just ride it up strap it down and still have room for all my gear. Rack has a hitch receiver mounted vertical for the winch to mount into it also has a bar that drops into the receiver which locks the front of the frame to the rack keeps it from being messed with. I don't have to worry about leaving it in the truck over night.
When out riding it folds up and fits behind the seat if I want to lock everything up.

try fitting a full size Arctic Cat 500-1000. Goodluck, even with a fleetside.
