Two wheel drive sucks!




Heading home from going up to town, my neighbors dog was in the middle of the driveway (that's right, I got stuck in my damn driveway...you can see my dad's shop in the background of the first picture), and he started chasing my truck, so I was watching him in my mirrors, and got sucked into waste high snow.

Spent a good hour digging out my truck before I finally gave up and called my dad. Half an hour later, he got home, and we had the neighbor push me out with his bob cat. What a pain!



And since you all like a decent shot of my extremities, here's a leg shot:

Vacuum Operated Hubs suck. The front diff wants to grab, but it just won't. When I was rocking back and forth, the front tires were spinning just barely. Gonna get a posi lock very soon.

 

that sucks. that truck would be way more cool with 4wd lol

I'm jealous! Its mid-winter... and got this truck to do better than that stang in the winter... and of course... it was like 65 degree's a few days ago. Where the heck is the snow?!? Indiana weather for ya.

I wouldnt complain we have about 2 in of snow but the highs of the past 2 weeks was about 15 or 17 and soemtimes at night was below 0

 

That sucks. Maybe get a ford next time??

 

By the way, ordered the posi lock last night.
