Let me start off that I learned to never go wheeling alone the hard way today lol. I was bored after class so i went down a trail but i didn't know it got so bad since last week.
also better pics of my recent headlight mod in this thread too.

got stuck for 35 minutes, got soaked and got cut by ice...worst wheeling day ever just cuz i was alone

Started off fine


Passed the first part fine...got a bit stuck but made it perfectly fine


Started going and my front tire broke through the ice in the rut. got stuck here for a little bit




backed up and got out then went again and slid deeper into the rut and deeper down into the ground too here is where the fun began

LCA's were touching the ground which made things way worse and my rear tires were on ice and they wouldn't hook up at all

it was everything but fun. i got completely soaked and cut by ice trying to get out digging and crap...not a pleasant experience ill tell you that lol

just wetsanded them with 600 grit to scuff them up sprayed some degreaser on them then sprayed 4 coats of krylon satin black and 4 coats of clear coat.
masked the lip off to get the polished lip
do it!

 

35 minutes ain't **** honestly. I have been stuck for 7 hours once, 6-7 another time, left my truck out on the trail over night once, my buddy just last week was stuck for a good 8 hours before my buddy with a winch got off work. Hell it generally takes us 30 minutes to sit around, laugh, take pics and finally get around to hooking another truck up

Getting cut up digging isn't any fun though, good to see you're out and nothing broke.

 

Haha, alright. Give me your address and I will take it off your truck for ya. Lol. Gonna try this summer to get that mod done. Atleast the front end. Probably wont get a hood.
