eh not for recoveries. I've been stuck in the snow in near white out conditions, and stuck in that lake in the middle of summer. Atleast I had a lake to go jump in and cool down
IMO it sucks to wade though waist deep snow drifts to hook up a recovery strap, time, after time, after time.. Especially considering one time I was wearing dress shoes and dickies. I hated having to get into the truck to warm up, Hated trying to figure out how to block the wind with my truck so I could take a **** (which by the way never works in wyoming, wind comes from EVERYWHERE ha)..
Last week my buddies decided to go mudding in the snow and it wasn't much above 30 the entire day, once the sun went down, (aka the time i got off work) it was a bit nippy for me to be out pulling people out freezing my *** off.
Plus if it requires digging and getting sweaty I would prefer wearing less clothes than more.

They never do And that first bad stuck of mine had everything to do with 3 other people yelling, "DO IT!" so I did..
No I'm just kidding, I might not help dig but I'll help hook up straps and winch cables. I'm normally the dumbass in the group that needs a shovel. Probably why I own 2 little ones that fit in a tool box.

done that! got my 4x4 250 stuck, with bald street tires, on wet clay... walked to home depot, bought a shovel, hand winches, and traction sand but found a friend with an s-10 blazer who pulled me out... then literally 2 minutes later my tie rod end went while doing about 50km/h (30mph) and i went through a ditch and a tree
i gotta agree, bundled up you sweat so easily, and it doesn't dry... i would prefer to be sweaty in the heat... or a fall rain, around 15* celcius (not sure what that is in F) and raining, the rain keeps you cool, and the heat keeps you warm... gives you so much energy!
nice looking truck though, glad you didn't break trying to get out! those headlights turned out SICK!
