Sunken Ranger
that sucks man. Same thing happened to me last year in my jeep. Was idling down a dry packed granite road an heres a lil mud on the shoulder. So I drove over it. Soon as I hit the patch of mud my passenger tire dropped until my bumper hung up on the ground!
Ended up having a f-150 an a chevy astro van hook onto me an yank me out.
Been driving that road every day for the past 4 years an have never seen anything like it before or since.

i had something similar happen over the winter, just with ice.
it was so bad i could have flipped my truck if i pushed on it.
be careful, the intake is on the passenger side, you might want to pull the airbox and make sure its not full of muck.

Dude I've been there...I was driving and decided to go through what I thought was a little mud hole and turned out to be a 5ft deep underground spring or something. You would never know that it was that deep just by looking at it. Water in the cab and it took a 1ton F350 6 HARD pulls to get me out.
but it seems like 32 swampers should have provided plenty of traction

+1
sheit, rangers have rock crawler flex!
Probably be documented in a couple of weeks or so.
it didnt want to go into gear, but i think i got it working. my frames twisted. my bed hit the cab so its all dented and scratched. trailer hitch is bent. push bar got bent. i have to drain all the fluids and replace them. a few seals need replacing.
thats all iv found wrong so far.
