oooohhhh....i LOVE that smell too. My dad used to work for dunlop here in Huntsville for 29yrs before they colsed the plant several yrs ago. he'd always come home with that smell on him ever since i was a youngin!! So i guess its kinda a comfort thing too..lol!!

I work in a tire factory, and depending on where you work you get all kinds of rubber smells. I work in the after-cure repair shop and spend my time mostly with just cooked tires that are still warm. Like newborns! Then there is the fixing part which is constant rubber smoke.

I'm thinking of getting some new style km2s here this spring.

I thought about getting an aggressive tread pattern like that in the oem tire size, then I thought that it would be REALLY noisey, and that turned me off right away. Different strokes for different folks though.
