Is possible

Looks great!!! One suggestion though before you put the front bumper back on. Paint the bumper lift brackets and part of the frame they attach to black so it doesnt stick out when the bumper is back on.

Cool!! Thanks for the heads up..i didn't think of that!! :biggthump

BTW: for those that wonder.......front from ground to bottom of fender is 40 1/2" and rear is 41 1/2". T-bar crank and shackles.

Josh this might have just convinced me to paint my Classic IIs

trucks423 02-16-2009 12:09 AM

lookin awesome guys!!

Fx4wannabe01 02-16-2009 12:15 AM

Looks GREAT!!! MY GOD it looks tall!! Oh....and i am getting KM2's next. Thanks for convincing me!

Something to note as well...... take sandpaper or a grinder with a flapwheel disc on it....take that zinc coating off those front bumper brackets. paint dont like to stick to that zinc stuff for too long. paint the brackets. paint your front x-member, then install your bumper. IF those welded on studs break, bolts look WAYY too ugly to me...I used 1/2x1 1/2 allen head bolts on marie's. Very nice and very clean looking....since you'll see it through the hole in the bumper.

Fx4wannabe01 02-16-2009 12:16 AM

OH...and ya'll should do Mike's front bumper while you're at it. it's hideous right now. sorry mike...i had to say that.

Josh still needs to get his tuner. So once he has that it will be back to stock shifts.

Fx4wannabe01 02-16-2009 03:04 AM

OK....seriously....paint those caps the same color as the wheels but with a chrome oval. it's BEGGING for that to happen!! all chrome cap is too much in that area imo....doesn't flow too well with the truck imo...with the DSG and flares and whatnot.

DO IT!

98liftedranger 02-16-2009 06:21 AM

Please remove those tow hooks and don't cut the valance. Or get some level II hooks. Those are just some regular hooks and won't look real good with a cut valance.

But other then that it looks real good.
