It will be quite some time before I mod it, if I even do. Only thing I have planned is getting the windows tinted to keep the sun off me. Gonna be tearing the fox apart this winter and doing some more perf mods so no funds for the cobra or taz

Looks good! perhaps the most underappreciated Cobras out there. IRS, 320hp and an all aluminum engine. Kinda sad they are overshadowed by the Termi's ( even though Terms are just wicked sick) but they are awesome cars and incredibly well balanced.

Im still on the lookout for a clean 5.0L. Been looking for months and just cant find the right car... i suck.

 

This is a true sleeper minus the modular exhaust note... Ive had a few sneak up on me, its hard for me to spot them due to the fronts being almost the same as a GT, not saying exactly the same cause they arent. But IRS was offered from the SN95's to the New Edge cobras just different splines (28-31).... most of the terminator's will swap in an 8.8 solid rear. Any cobra is a work of art in my book.... I dont think anyone of them is overshadowed but thats just my own opinion. Congrats on the purchase!

 

What do you mean SN95 to New Edge??

96-98 Cobras have the solid 8.8...99 Cobras have the 28 spline half shafts and the 2001 Cobras have the 31 splne shafts.

One thing you need to find out is if you have the Teksid or WAP block...see if you have a square or diamond pattern in the intake valley on the block.

Square=Teksid
Diamond=WAP

2001 Cobras came with both.
