Scrapping is my new thing. Weve been taking apart old vehicles at my friends, and we just finished up an old dump truck. Got about 2200 bucks out of the peice of garbage.

His cummins can pull a bit more than I can though.

nah, most of its plastic, you would have only gotten another $20 for it

Where exactly do you take metal like that? My parents have a ton of scrap metal just lying around, and I've slowly been just hauling it to the dump for them, but if I can get them some money for it, that would be great!

Look in the phone book under recycling. It's probably listed under metal recycling in there. We have a few around here, and we go to whoever is paying more at the time.
