BUSY day for ol' Red
Well, today was a busy day for ol' Red. She got a few things added to her. The first was a nice skid plate from 04rangerdave
Sanded and painted:
Mounted:
Then I had a nice delivery from of my good friends. Bought all of this for $600. 4 month old 32X11.50R15 BFG A/T KOs mounted on 15x8 MB Razor Wheels. I wanted to used these as winter wheels (polished in the winter sucks), but to tell you the truth, I REALLY like them on there. Im getting mixed reviews on them, and frankly I dont really care what anyone else says--I know my old wheels look beast and all and most are used to the clean look, but these wheels really do look great on there. I still have the polished for the spring (if i put them back on). White letters going out this week. Anyhow, enough rant, here is the new look (at least for right now)

and beside his jeep
Yes I know I need to crank T-Bars and yes I know I need lift (getting it shortly)
Enjoy!

I do agree, I LOVE my polished wheels and the look they give the truck, but cant stand the 8-10 hours of polishing in the spring to get them back to gleaming. so this is the look for now. more than likely, the 32s will go on the polished ones around april/may

NOOOOOOOO ! I love the other look so much more than your new ones. I will say that it does change the entire look of your truck BUT they in no way IMO look near as good as the old ones. I know you dont like polishing them just like I dont like doing mine but just slowly ween yourself off lol. Only clean em good like once a month and it wont be near as bad. I know its alittle different for you because you like your truck to always be spotless but I feel like the new wheels take away from such a good look that you had before. Just my 2 cents.
I think your truck would look great lifted and 32 or 33's especially with how clean it is. But I see KLC's point, its like you dont even wanna mess with it now, it looked so good and clean for a stockish truck that you dont want to ruin it. But I know for me I cant stay one way for long, I am almost never happy and I cant stay content to save my life. Hence why its already at the point it is now and if I end up keeping it (and zabeard gets some time to build me somethings lol, hes always so busy), ill just end up throwing tons and tons of more money at it.

Scotts truck with a 3"BL will be straight sex on wheels. The new wheels look awesome, if you don't adjust to them by the spring sell them and use the pacers.

I think his truck will look great with a body lift. Polishing wheels does suck but the end result I worth all the hard work.

Thanks y'all. Like I said, mixed reviews on them, eithet way they r on for winter for sure. KLC I've thought about just leveling and leaving and taking bl money and put it towards nice shockss to compensate for rougher ride from cranked tbars.
White letter will probably have to out for sure, everyone knows how I feel about blackwalls out on a truck! But if anyone has ever owned polished wheels, they can back me up.in saying they are a pia. Look sexy, but a pain in the winter. Can't please everyone.lol. Im pleased, miss the polished wheels, but.I love this too. Ill make up my mind.on outcome of the polished wheels. Getting ready to buy some wheels for saras car, selling one set of mine may help out with that. Going with 18s on hers and she will need tires too if I upsize wheels

I love the look of lifted trucks and his will be no exception, but if I know Scott the way I think I do based on his threads on the forum I wouldn't. I know I'll never lift a daily driver again.
