Well it's an epidemic...
Just picked up another Ranger -
Left
2001 Ford Ranger Edge 2wd 3.0 manual with 40k miles
Right
2004 Ford Ranger Edge Plus 4x4 3.0 Auto with 46k miles on it
I got a really good deal on it and couldn't pass it up. I wanted a 4wd, power windows, and keyless entry.
My dad is buying my 01 from me but he's going to let me swap everything out. He is going to haul firewood in it and has two brand new cars so it won't accumulate any miles.

The fx4 rear end, beds, black headlamps, my bridgestone ATs, and some other small stuff.
I'm considering swapping the front bumpers too.
What are you talking about? I have hauled quite a few loads of firewood in the 01 plenty of times. I'm not logging trees.

Ya...ya I know. Whenever I have them in the driveway it looks hilarious. Well my dad said he would hold on to it for me so I'm really not losing the truck. I really need a 4x4 for where I live and simply couldn't pass up the deal or color.

Actually, I already have them on the 04. They were in much better shape than the ones I had on the 04.
I always took them off every 6 months to rotate the tires and wash the insides out. :) I told you I would take care of them when I bought them from ya.
I have a set of 16x7 tear drops sitting in my yard barn. I could swap them out with the 04s but you would probably want to powder coat them or have them painted. I really have been toying with the idea to get one of the sets powder coated gunmetal gray and run those for a while.
I may break down and buy one from the dealership. I can get it at cost but that's still 200 dollars. eeep
I'm going to have the hood repainted on the 04 and I'm going to get the cover painted then. It's really nice to have a lid to haul stuff around under. However, people asking me why it's a different color is getting old....
Ya this one was bought and serviced here in Evansville. 1 owner and no accidents. :) I love having power options and keyless entry again. Plus the automatic isn't too bad either.
Oh I won't, it's just when I'm visiting my parents house.
LoL try having a matching car thrown in there too. Three fords and all E4 red. :) My parents think I'm crazy.
