I went ahead and did the "headlight mod" to my ugly a$$ tail lights. Didnt turn out like id hoped, looks better, but i think im going to smoke them. Is there a special paint I need to use?

I didnt tape off enough chrome, plus my tape peeled off some chrome. It still has that gross euro look. What do you guys think?

 

called VHT niteshade, you can get it at pepboys for 12.50 a can

 

looks better x10 would have been sick if it was oem black and just the color lenses no chrome

Yeah, there was a stream of obscenities coming from my mouth while i was peeling the tape off, but i thought smoking them would look good too.

The more i look at them, i see the problem, the clear lenses are soooo scratched from brush it makes it look grey and craptastic. ha ha, def needs some tint

 

I like it as is.

Nightshading tail lights is the dumbest thing ever, IMO.

 

sell those to some kid and get you a set of OEM.
