i tried a few different ways to attach them that were "temp" like using heavy duty zip ties and that fiber shipping box ribbon and it looked like poo

I think they look cheap and tacky. I would never even consider putting those on.

even fake beadlocks dont look real, I say do it. I think they look fine.

The two ways I would think to do it is to either have someone TIG a couple studs to each wheel or to drill and tap the wheel its self.
