this dent was the only real damage done to the truck...
the cab flex is where my cab mount has rusted through and the body bushings "pulled" up through....so this week i will be welding in a piece of plate onto the top of the mount

as for the bumper i used 3/8" plate for the sides, 3"x4" angle 3/8" thick for the reciever mount, 2" DOM for the upper tubes, 1 3/4" HREW for the lower ones, and 1/4" plate for the skid plate

where i cut off the factory bumper mounts and plated the crumple zones with 3/16" plate to use 1/2" grade 8 bolts

small angle just to support the cradle from "flopping around" and for side pulls
front disconnect....

think i will prolly weld up a plate over the top tube to fill in the gap a little, and act as a gusset. and add a few other pieces at other locations to give it a more "finished" look..... you know how projects go...never really quite finished with them
