winter beater

this truck hates me for sure for what I'm amking it do..but its hadles awesome in the snow. It does waaay better than I figured it would. Through a ****load of weight in it and it cruises pretty good. some starts at lights on hills are a bit scetchy on the icy stuff but I have yet to get close to stuck in either of the 3"-8" snowfalls we have had so far. after this last one friday night it is super packed with snow under it. It handles better than my ranger ever did in snow as far as 2wd goes. it plows it own road after about 4" of snow haha

these pics where take yester after work, drove all night and saturday morning on unplowed 6-8" snowed on roads. twas a blasty blast

I wouldn't have though of a lower truck for a winter truck, but hey, whatever works. I like it.

the first snow we had was pretty sticky and it drives in the thick stuff really good, gets nice grip. but when it gets packed it sucks. at like stoplights where tards spin their tires a whole bunch. even though this thing is the worst possible winter vehicle. I still pass awd suv's and cars like nothing. I hate people that dont know the limits of their cars..but then again they are probably just terrible drivers.

Yeah I dont exactly love this as a winter car.. AT ALL, but I like the fact that I can put up with it and save money on not getting a new truck yet and on gas. And yeah I get compliments on how well the wheels fit all the time. it was just a crapshoot build but it turned out rather well. I have to fix the drivers ranger headlight though, lost the nuts on one of the pegs so it fall into the core like in the picture in one corner. Its super crosseyed as far as the lights go. needs tweaking
