thanks, i love it.. its real damn nice to hop in the truck and start driving w/o having to screw around with hooking up the ipod, turning it on, looking through it for a song and hitting play.. it just starts playing where it left off.. the remote is nice too due to the design of the ****.

Looks good, I love my pioneer in my truck. It works great with no issues. I also love keeping my ipod in there.

Nice, Matt. I just got the stock speakers in mine, and I think they sound fine. You have 8 speakers? I only got 4 that I know of, lol. Maybe cause mine's a "work truck".

Nope, not mine. I can't justify spending that much on a gun. I was with him when he got it, we went to GT Distributors and he got it for 9 somethin' with tax.

idk, i had to connect 2 wires per speaker (ones gotta be ground, cause grounding it to the door would make too much sense) for the wiring harness, and the mesh for the speakers on the door panels on the front doors are awfully big for one speaker.. I think I may have 2 on the fronts and one in the rear. I one of the pass. speakers is blown so i need to take it apart, I'll let yall know then. Its not blown blown, but on some songs it freaks out and sounds like ***..

The guy i work with said to make them sound real good, cut off the low range to the door speakers and just let the sub handle it.. that way they'll sound better and wont be distorted trying to pick up the low notes, thats the subs job.

Yeah you don't want bass coming through your door speakers when you have a sub. Its pretty easy to turn the lows off via the headunit though.

yea.. but im a complete A/V noob.. I gave my manual to the guy at work and 5 minutes later he came back and said "here follow these directions" hah

I'm learning.. but he'll also be the one to wire then tune my sub/amp..

speaking of AV.. i drove an 03 HD F-150 today and there was a red light on the mirror, with a button on the side that said "A/V" so im pretty sure i was being recorded.

I got to drive my buddies a while back, damn those things haul some ***.

then it makes it harder to make them work with an after market head unit.

I guess i should keep the rifle in the house and not the truck hah.

I've been bringing the face plate in with me at night anyways.

Nice deck I have the same one and love it. I also bring mine in, same with the gps. Or when I go in a store I put the faceplate in the case and in the glove box out of sight.
