I've been looking at the threads regarding getting more power out of our 2.3 four cyl. I haven't seen anything about replacing the computer chip. Has anyone tried that? I see them advertised claiming big things for around $70. I've got a 92 with 8 plugs. I tried a mod. swapping the wires around so the exhaust plugs fire at the same time as the main plugs, but didn't notice any difference.
