Icon4 94 4cyl ranger only starts sometimes

Hey guys i have a 94 ranger 4 cyl 2wd. When i go out in the morning it fires right up then if i stop at the store on the way to work when i come back out it just barely starts it turns over quite a bit and makes a noise like its trying to start and eventually does. After driving it a second time it wont start back up sometimes its 15 min sometimes over night.

here a list of whats been done to the truck recently

fuel pump
coil packs
plugs/wires
ignition module
fuel relay
inertia cut of switch
new batery
crank position sensor

any thoughts would be helpful

Maybe starter motor? When mine was going bad, it would act something like that. Not too sure otherwise.

Hmm, sorry I've run out of halfway decent ideas, but hopefully someone with more knowledge can comment. I bet you could get a voltage reading off the ecu, but I'm not sure what it should read or if that by itself would yield helpful (since you were able to check codes I'm guessing not). That does remind me though I should probably put a new battery in mine for the winter :)

Probably doesn't matter, but is the truck a 5-speed or auto? Also I'm assuming the fuel filter is fine since you did the pump also.

Also does it seem to run all right once started?
