'97 2.3l crank shaft seal

'97 Ranger, 2.3L, 5 sp. Looks like I need to replace the crank shaft seal. It's been leaking like the Exxon Valdez for to long now. Are there any tips, tricks, tools or general knowledge that I should know before I dig into this? Anything would help, I already have the seal and going to replace the timing belt since I will be there anyway.
Thank you,
Rich

when i did mine.....i honestly had a sr. auto tech help me cause i just dont have the patience for that kinda stuff lol. I had my radiator, clutch fan, condensor,.....pulled out of my truck. Really all i can say is when you put it in....make sure its good and flat and even and tap it all around the seal very lightly
