Im looking at my engine and on my air box there is the o2 sensor, and then there is 2 other cords connected to the box and im wondering what those are for, i looked where they led to and they dont seem neccessary, are they? And im trying to find a short ram intake for my truck but i cant find one anwhere, is there even an intake made for a 94 XLT?

thats your MAF sensor that is on the airbox. o2 sensors "senses" when extra oxygen is coming out of the engine and then tells the pcm. therefore its on the downpipe

hope this makes a bit more sense, people confuse the MAF sensor and the o2 sensor a lot
