Today I heard something rattling when I pulled into Walmart, so I started pumping gas, and noticed a little smoke from the hood. Popped it, anitfreeze all over hte place. I am assuming the smoke was antifreeze burning off only.

It could have been more. Anyone got ideas? Anyone know what the rattling woulda been?

Think something else is wrong? Motor Blown? It cranked up once it was at the shop.....

 

anti-freeze all over the place under the hood will definately make it smoke. Top the coolant level back off and let it warm up to operating temperature and pop the hood and see where the coolant is coming out. The rattling, maybe the radiator is cracked on one of the mounts and the radiator itself is rattling against the broken mount.

Was it running hot, idling weird, or anything along those lines? If not i don't think anything is wrong with the motor.

 

The radiator was cracked. Its got a new one now, shouldnt be any motor problems. It did shanke a little when I was idling at a red light before I got to walmart and noticed what was going on. But everything ran fine from the shop to my house.

Would the radiator being cracked have anything to do with that shakin at the light? The mounts were loose too
