Hello, I have a 97 splash 2.3 and the other day while messing around the engine near the EGR valve I noticed it has a double vaccum line running up to it, one line that connects to the top of the EGR valve which is green and there is a the other line that is red, I have searched high and low for a place to connect this red line. I see a few places where it may connect but it's either to far of a stretch or in a weird spot. My engine has a crank case vent with two ports down below the manifold (far stretch from egr). The other possible spot is a small hole right on the throttle body behind accelerator cable (the red vac line fits perfect in this hole buts seems like a awkward place.

 

I got to looking around the main vaccum hose that comes out of the vac canister and on the back side of the hose connector that screws into the manifold is a little nipple that the red side of the hose plugs up to.
