Engine is filthy with oil, power steering fluid, dirt, etc.
Want to wash the engine bay. Anything I should avoid?
Thanks

Dawn dish soap cuts the oil pretty well, use a spray bottle to soak the areas you want to clean, and non-toxic for most living things
You can use a hose with sprayer but NOT a pressure washer, to hose off the soap
Avoid main electrical connectors and boxes, most are sealed pretty well but not for direct spraying of water
Do the cleaning over a few days or weeks, driving vehicle in between, to heat it up and to see if there were any issues from last washing
Pressure washer can be used on the under side of vehicles but NOT in engine bay, but again watch electrical connection
