Flowmaster 40 on 2.5L
Anyone know how a Flowmaster 40 would sound on a 2.5L Ranger? When I first got the truck it had no muffler and sounded like crap. I have a stock one on it now but it is just a little to quiet for me. Anyone have an idea if it would still sound crappy or ok? I can get one for free from a buddy.

I did not find many good vids of flowmaster 40's on a ranger with 2.5 but i guess a few that you could kinda hear was good sounding. Would you just put a turn down on or what?
no rice! i have the 40 series on the 2.5 98 and it sounds great! i get complements on it all the time, about it sounding like a bigger motor and grumbling a lot
DO IT!!! YOU WILL NOT NE DISAPPOINTED!

Really???? Should have noticeable difference.. Sure its a 40 series?
Totally serious. Sounds deeper at start up and idle, and if you rev it, but on the road, it sounds totally stock, even if you're mashing the pedal to the metal.
