high pitch noise from trans

high pitch noise from trans

i have a 94 2.3 manual trans and there is a high pitch noise coming from the trans i have no idea what is wrong but it doesn't sound good any help?

you could check your fluid see if its brown or red, see if it smells burntif its burnt then you have problem, i'm not sure what but i hope i could get you started

by that year i think you have a m5r1 mazda trans if so i have the same transmission and it makes the same sound but when i push the clutch it it goes away i rebuilt it with a new slave pilot and throw out bearing and it still makes the same sound i think its normal or its just the throw out bearing rubbing on the pressure plate witch is normal

well my 89 with the mazda M5OD-R1 it never mad a noise, and my new truck makes a noise that kinda sounds like a turbo
