Light bullbs in the instrument ...

I have few bad light bulbs behind the instrument panel. May I ask where I can get those bulbs? Any auto store or actual dealer? Anyone knows how to get the panel out? Please advise.

1994, Mazda B2300.

I'm having the same problem in my '95 Ranger. The entire right side of my panel is dim.

Should be regular old 194 bulbs. Heck all the vehicles i've ever owned had 194s in the gauge cluster. even my 71 chev. Installing....i have no clur on a 94. I know 95+ very well though. You got to pull the gauges out. Probably pull the radio, then then plastic crap under neeth the steering wheel, then pull the plastic panel in front of the driver, then pull the gauges. the 194's are in "twisty" holders. I don't know the proper name...that's just what i call them. Twist out the holder, gently pull out the bulb from the holder, replace bulb. Easy, just time consuming if it's your first time.

any auto parts store should be able to look it up for u
my 95 ranger has 194 bulbs (corner marker) i believe my 94 ranger had the same
The LL (Long Life) bulbs are recommended. Also, different tints, i put the red-orange tint in mine, gives the guages a plesant redish backlighting, though not quite as bright as the standard, but plenty visable, even at 75% on dimmer switch.

Yes, 194 is the correct bulb. I got it from a local auto store for $2.99 (2 bulbs). Once I removed the front plastic panel, then changing the bulbs was a piece of cake.

There is a really good how-to on ranger power sports. Just type it in the search forums and there should be a really good detail description of how to remove the cluster to get to the bulbs.
