I am going to be doing my first oil change on my Ranger. My other cars have a crush ring on the oil drain plug that must be replaced at every oil change. Does my ranger (99 2.5L) have a crush ring that has to be replaced?

 

I believe all Rangers have a rubber gasket built into the plug. My 94 Ranger 2.3, 2001 Ranger 3.0, my father's 2004 Ranger 3.0, and my 02 SVT have all had a built in gasket but correct me if I'm wrong...

I have never placed a crush ring on any of my oil changes.
