Replacing radiator questions

Have had a very small nagging leak from gasket of stock radiator, finally pulled the trigger and bought an all aluminum radiator to install.

I am not home for another month, and cant look, but how many hoses do I have going to the radiator? I am thinking of replacing all the hoses as I am replacing the radiator.

Also, is there a better/worse radiator fluid to use, or all they all pretty much the same? (Will likely use whatever is best, and add the Red Line "Water Wetter" to top it off)

you only have 2 hoses running to the rad because you have a manual
