2.3 lima or 2.3 duratec to turbo?

Were I attempting the same, I'd locate a turbo T-bird or an SVO Mustang as the source of all the bits & pieces. It then becomes a much simpler job as all(most) of the plumbing has been designed & built. In addition, the controls are set up, and TESTED. The Lima had a few mods, but not a lot(rods?) to meet the demands of durability. The Mazda? Not so much, or was it turbo'd in one of the econoboxes? If there is a turbo, you'd have a lot more work making it function. You can use your current engine and add the turbo stuff if you don't have a lead foot, and still have longevity and increased power.
