I have a 98 2.5l that has been idling rough lately. A check engine light was thrown and the pulled code said it was a miss-fire in cylinder 1. I then replaced the plugs and wires. The check engine light went away for about fifty miles, then came back on. In those fifty miles, my truck began to stall out while idling, whether its sitting at a stop sign or decelrating. I went and had the code pulled again and it still said there was still a miss-fire in cylinder one, so tonight I replaced the coil packs. I started it up and let it idle. It ran well for a few minutes than began to miss and it stalled out again. I was wondering if there were any more suggestions on what could be causing the rough idle. The check engine light has not come on yet.

Any help would be appretiated.
