check engine code p0351?
ok i did a search to try to find anything about this code but nothing came up.
so i have a 1995 ranger 4cyl. and everything is stock on it.
i pulled the code and it was a p0351--- Ignition Coil #1 Primary Circuit - Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time.
has anyone came across this code and if so what did you do to make it turn off, or fix it?
recent matinance done:
new plugs and wires (ngk plugs and bosch wires)
new radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat, and fan clutch, and new coolant of course.
thanks for the help.

This is a focus sight but they share the same motor as our trucks. Sounds like website should help you diagnose the situation.

i dont know about your truck but i am 99% sure that my 95 ranger and my parents 02 focus do not have the same motor at all. for 1. the focus is a DOHC motor and mine is a SOHC. but anyways i have a scan tool at my work and i just cleared the code. i have now driven it another 2000 miles and the check engine light has not come back on, i love it when the problem fixes itself.
