Spark plug thread size

Are these the same size??? I can’t tell if the motorcraft plugs are just seated further in but have less threads. I bought the wires too.

The new ones will be fine to use

Motorcraft did the short threads for awhile then change back to full threads

This was their latest version of that spark plug https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/...AC_SL1500_.jpg
So full threads

Sweet ! Thanks man. I ordered the cables too from rawk otto. I know I gotta buy more soon now I know to buy double platinum :/ the job was stressful with all the chunks of oil everywhere from a bad valve cover. Should I have done a compression test on all the cylinders??

Compression tests are good to do any time, if you have the tools and the time
Its a black or white test, no grey area
But unless you are chasing a mis-fire issue or low power, there no real need to do the test
