#1 Torsion Bar Upgrade

#1 Torsion Bar Upgrade
I have some severe driver side ranger lean on my 2003 Ford Ranger. I've inspected all the suspension components and couldn't find anything suspicious and have already maxed out the driver side torsion bolt, but still have sagging. This leads me to believe the driver side torsion bar in just worn out, since there is 250km on the truck.
Since I am going to be replacing it anyways, I figure I might as well upgrade to the #1 bars while I'm at it, to reduce the chance of sagging in the future. I currently have the B bars.
Is there any downsides to making this upgrade aside from the stiffer ride?
According to this, there seems to be two different parts numbers for the #1 bars:

The vehicles that you'll find spring code 1 bars in are 5.0 Explorer and Mountaineer, Level II package Rangers, and other Rangers and Explorers with a higher GVWR rating. This includes Sport Tracs. You will not find them on any 2wd Edge or Sport Ranger.
Be weary of buying bars from the wrecker. Although #1 bars are nice and stiff, they too can sag. Mine are from the wrecker, and they were okay. However others have picked theirs up from the wrecker and have found them to have sagged as well. For $300, you can buy them straight from Ford or one of the NOS (New Old Stock) parts warehouses and skip the worry of picking up a set of sagged bars. It's up to you.
Make sure you keep track of which bar comes from which side, they are different lengths.
