coil spacers/spindle lift
i have a 2001 2wd and it is body lifted, so now i want to level it out. 3 questions.
1. if i use coil spacers or spindle lifts, will it give me negatice camber and look funny?
2. whats the best of either one to get
3. i bought cheap coil spacers from pepboys/o'reily auto parts, are these ok to use? they were only $10 a piece so theyre just sitting around.
im buying new tires this winter so i wanna go big, any help is appreciated.

I had a 1999 ranger that I put a Spindle lift on. It did not affect the alignment or the camber angle and needed no other adjustments other that having grind a small notch in the lower a-arm for clearance for turning. It raised the front three inches and the blocks raised the back 2" leveling it out. With 31" tires my truck sat a little higher than a stock four wheel drive.

I considered the spacers but I think you have to get an alignment afterwards. THe spacers cost $50 and the alignment will cost $75 and you have not even lifted the back yet. The spindle kit I got was on ebay for around $300. I was skeptical about it being a good kit. I worked great and did not affect the ride quality.

Yeah, coil spacers. I've got a brand new set that i obviously can't use because my truck is 4x4. You'll need camber adjusting bolts once you install them though but regardless if you're going to run larger tires its recommended that you buy the camber adjusting bolts/plates. easy to install too

alright i put on the $10 coil spacers and the solid poly spacer that goes on the bottom, both of them work GREAT! yeah i had to have an alignment after wards but i mean come on its not that bad. I got a noticeable difference with the coil spacers. haven't popped out yet hahah

i just took my truck off roading this past weekend and hit some ruts pretty hard and everything stayed in place. The coil sits on top of the spacer and you have a washer that holds your coil on stock, you use the bolt extension if needed and the stock washer/coil spring hold down, holds the coil in place. Alignment is for sure needed after the installation though. If you need any help installing them just ask but they have the instructions on the website and its pretty self explanatory.
