hello everyone;
i am new to this site and i have a question
ok so i want to put 32" or 33" in my 87 ford ranger 4x4 2.9L auto
i was thinking putting a 2" coil in front and a rear shackle lift kit in the back which is this:

will i have any problems with this lift?
and will i be able to fit 33" or 32" in there?

oh and i woud lift it more then 2" but i dont want to loose the alighment and to lift it 2" all i need is new coils but if ill lift it 4" i will probably need something else and i dont know what?

 

FYI: You have a Ford TTB front suspension. You will constantly be needing to re-align it

 

ya but will i be able to re-align it with a 4" lift?
and what else exept coils and shocks i need for the front for a 4" lift?
oh and i forgot to tell you guys that its a daily driver for the winter and i do go off roading sometimes

but i cant really go where i want to becuase right now i have 215/65/15 on it and it doesnt look good being a 4x4 and all

You could also go with a bodylift...

 

You can do a 2" front lift, but you camber will be off. Get a Chilton/Haynes book, it will show you how to adjust the camber. With a 4" lift, you will need more than simple adjustment, you will need an alignment.
I have 30X9.5R15 on my BroncoII, and it looks fine not lifted. I might do a 2 inch, but maybe not...

 

you can do the 2" skyjacker coils in the front and I WOULD NOT recommend those crap shacle plates, id go with the belltech 6400 shackles to lift the rear some. the 2" SJ coils in front should still be alignable once they settle. to go 4" or more you will need a full lift kit with drop brackets for the front arm pivot points. but again, if you only want 2" or so 150 bucks for the SJ coils and 50 bucks for the belltech 6400s plus the cost of the alignment isnt too bad. along with some 2" longer shocks and longer brake hoses it'll be a great setup and should fit 31x10.5s perfect with no rubbing at full flex.

i am not looknig for a lift kit becuase i just want to put 32" i will probably go offroading once or twice a year its more of the look that i am after

and about the body lift i already have new polyurethane cab mounts


do you know if 32" will fit just for the city becuase i dont care if they rub at full flex becuase again i just want the look

 

32s or 33s will be really tight on an 87, 33s probly wouldnt even fit even with the 2" lift. you may be able to do some 32x11.5s but you might have to do a little trimming of the fenders... although i know someone with an 89 and the 2" coils and there is a good amount of room with his 31s, if its not being flexed out a ton then 32s should fit, the main issue will be the width and they may rub on the swaybar or radius arm when you turn. its not that bad of a thing though, you just loose some turning radius and have to get used to only turning the wheel a certain amount. so yea, you'll probly be ok with 32s and the 2" coils on a 4x4.
