2 inch lift coils

I am looking at getting some 2 inch lift coils, and new shocks for my 1999 Mazda B3000. I know i have seen these before but now that i start to look for them all i can find is years 1993-1997. What brand would be the best; skyjacker, rancho, fabtech. I know i can't use the stock shock, but i have no idea about which one to use. I am quite a suspension noob.

the cheapest thing to do is get a coil spring spacer. one for 99 150 should fit. thats what i have. camburg also makes coils if thats what you really want.

i know that the spacer is the cheaper alternative, but i need new coils and shocks anyway...i would rather buy the lift coils than OEM stuff and then the spacer...if you have these where'd you get them can't find them anywhere.

you'll need new extended shocks and prepare for a firmer ride. and an alignment kit

i found some on ebay and they had 2, 2.5, and 3 inch lift springs...what is the biggest i can go without need upper control arms. I thought i remember some guy with a red reg. cab truck with 3 inch lift coils but i am not sure.

what engine? cab size?

all these things factor. Extended cabs are heavier...so the coils settle more. same goes for the 4.0 engine. You could get away wit the 3" coils, MAYBE, but you will lose uptravel. and would want to consider getting some limit straps or bumpstops.

I have the fabtech 2.5" off of a 4.0 on my 3.0, and the uptravel isnt great. The chevy coils are a cheap alternative, some say $50 or so at a junkyard. Regardless you WILL need extended shocks and a camber kit.

I'd stick with the 2.5 lift without upper a-arms.

The highest I would recommend, as well as many others, would be to go with 2.5" coils. For shocks, I have STOCK 4x4/Edge Billstein 5100s, but any other shock within that length will do. Camber kit, you can probably go with a 2 3/4 degree kit. I went with a Pep Boys brand, that I had to special order that allowed more adjustment, but that was not necessary. Make sure you buy limit straps or bumpstops, because your upper a-arm may max out...but that can wait if the noise doesnt really bother you when it hits the frame.
