Can I get something custom-fabbed for a decent price (about the same I'd pay for a lift) like a dual shock setup or w/e? I really ahve no idea what I'm talking about and you've probably noticed...

Anything custom (that's worth it) is going to cost you. Just get some Fabcrap or Blo-Comp spindles dude, then add some shocks later on if you want to, but if you have something made it'll cost you. You could also check out Camburg, Weldtec, H&M, etc. but they won't be as cheap as it sounds like you want them to be.

Welcome to the suspension industry. Unless you have awesome hookups, you're going to pay.

Yeah, I think I read on Weldtec's site that they have to install the kits... Is that just the Long travel one, or is it all of them, cause I noticed that they have the installation cost in the price.

I'm pretty sure they only "have" to instal the LT kit. But i'm not sure so don't quote me on that. Call em up man They're a group of real nice guys.

Channing, you can order the kits, but if you have someone by you install it, or do the install yourself, they can't gaurantee their parts. That's the main reason shops prefer in-house installs, just so they can gaurantee their product. Jeremy will ship his kits out, I've already been over that with him.

I take it you guys with dark tinted windows don't do much night offroading where you have to back up? I've never understood an offroad truck with dark tinted windows. But maybe not all of you are vampires...

Tint sucks for offroading.

yes it does suck at night.......but i put an additional backup light so its not that bad... and my windows are down most of the time. i'd much rather have the benefits during the day
