anyone put stablizers on their 06+ ranger without the super lift kit.. if please tell me how and where you got it

Why do you need a steering sabilizer?

If you are getting alot of feedback there is probably something else wrong

 

with the type of lift i did which was keys and add-a-leaf im getting a lot of bump steer im only running 32x11.50's and should have this issue being as the level 2 came with the bilstiens i have a lil over 80k on the truck 97% is highway miles. i havent noticed any drop in the front end when under hard breaking and my shocks arent bottoming out tierod and all balljoints have also been replaced my options not are steering stablizer and new shocks id like to do both at the same time if i could

 

I would look at Rough Country, they make a ton of steering stabilizers, that's the brand I have on my truck.

 

06+? Is it even possible on IFS or needed, I thought steering stabilizers were for solid axles, unless you have done the sas.

 

Its possible but not needed at all on rack and pinion steering. If you need a steering stabilizer then something is wrong with your truck and you need to have it serviced.

 

Your problem is the keys. Get rid of those things they are bad news.

 

as stated before all ball joint have been replaced along with tierods i had the same problem before i did the keys in the front idk if its tire size or not but if any one knows of a kit that can be bought for the 06+ lemme know

 

There isn't a kit for an 06. As we said if you need a stabilizer on your truck then you have much much bigger problems and most likely a stabilizer won't help anyways. You probably need to replace your rack.

 

Could a bad rack cause vibrations in the steering?

 

rack has been replaced just pick the truck up and i still have the bump steer any other ideas

 

ditch your keys already

poor alignment. that is your problem.

no vehicle should ever need a steering stabilizer.

 

^^^ or wheel bearings... I had really bad bump steerin before dealer replaced tierods and wheel bearings and she was as tight as a teenage.... well you get it lol

 

wheel bearings are new like less then 1k on them and alignment doesnt have anything to do with bump steer it doesnt pull one way or another so any other ideas beside the keys

 

you can keep telling yourself that but i bet its alignment. with those keys it will never go into spec on alignment.
