98-03 and 04-0? Upper Balljoints? confirm

Ok my GF cousin has a 98 ranger with that Passenger adjustable upper arm. he needs new ball joints. does anyone know 100% that you can just use the solid arm instead?

EDIT: yes both 4x4 arms!

i just ordered two sets of 2 piece moog's within the last month, are you sure they are discontinued?

Both the factory 2-piece and the Moog 2-piece UCAs have been discontinued. Ford's got superceded to 1-piece 2 or 3 years ago and Moogs last year. There are probably still a few 2-piece Moogs left in the pipeline.

When you say "two sets of 2 piece moog's", I'm not sure I understand. The 98+ DS 4x4 UCAs were always 1-piece and the factory-installed PS 4x4 UCAs were 2-piece until around 2003 1/2 when they were changed to 1-piece.
