is this all i need?

I'm looking to lower my truck. Is this the best way to go? I dont want to spend the 700 or whatever dollars on a name brand kit b/c i honestly dont have that kind of money. should i replace anything else while i do this or no? another question i have is that when i have my truck jacked up to where the tires are off the ground i can grab the front tire on the passenger side and move it side to side more than i should be able to. what could this be from? also do you think a 3"-5" drop is enough to fill the wheel gap i have?

Personally it will do for now but have fun aligning it with 3 inch coils on the stock control arms, even with an eccentrics kit which you will need if u get this kit you will still have camber and wear tires because the stock upper control arms are not long enough to help align it with the 3 inch coils.

personally just save for the djm 4/5 its well worth the money and wait and youll want to go lower eventually its a disease I started at 4/5 I didnt even waste time with the 2/3 because I knew I would want to go lower eventually and even with the 4/5 I went to 5/7.

just go to www.stylingconcepts.com

I started off with the djm 4/5 which has upper and lower arms and 2 inch coils and a flipkit out back.

to get the 5/7 i swapped in 3 inch belltech coils and flipped the rear hangers to get 5/7

i think i would want the 5/7 too. so i would have to buy the 4/5 kit then get other stuff to make it 5/7? do you have any pics of when u had the 4/5 drop?

You could buy all the parts seperate like djm upper and lowers, than the belltech coils instead of the djm coils that come with the kit and then a flipkit and you can flip your hangers which is 10 in bolts and gives u a 2 inch drop.

if thats a 4/5 drop i think thats plenty for me. i still need to be able to tow my trailer around with my truck every once in a while. that would look a million times better too.
i have a question. if when my front tires are off the ground when the truck is jacked up whats wrong with the suspension if i can move my tire like left and right? ball joint, tie rod? would getting a lowering kit help this?

sounds like a balljoint is the front suspension squeaky?

and yes the lowering kit if you get the djm arms come with brand new balljoints installed in them that are greasable to.

and if you planning on towing get a set of airshocks for the rear so when u haul you can air them up so your suspension doesnt sag to much and when ur done u can let the air out.

haha i just got off the phone with my dad. he said he will help me pay for the lowering kit since it needs it and he was gonna pay for it to go in the shop to be fixed. idk how soon it will be but he said i have to put the stock rims back on just incase b/c he doesn't want one of the rims getting messed up if the ball joint breaks or w/e.

thanks a lot. ill most likely be paying for it but its money that i was supposed to be giving to my dad since i owe him money for my car
i was just wondering if this is something i would be able to do at home...i really have never messed with front suspension. is all i would need is a spring compressor? on a scale of 1-10 how hard would this be to do.

the front is the hardest but start sprayed wd40 on every single nut and bolt in the suspension so it comes off easier the hardest part was getting bolts loose.
