Another "FNG" question about lift & shocks...

I have a 97 ext cab w/ 173K miles, it needs shocks badly and I would also like to raise this truck about 1.5 to 2 inches. Does this year have the torsion bar option and if so would the Monroe Reflex shocks be a good combo with the tbars turned?

Thank you in advance for any answers.

Torsion bars started in 98. Your truck has the TTB suspension (assuming its 4x4, I could be wrong). I forgot what the 2wd suspension was called.

This 97 is a 2WD - next "noob" question - what is an economical way of raising it 1 to 2 inches?
