Back Rear Wheel Clunk/Issue
Back Rear Wheel Clunk/Issue
Hey yall so I got a little clunking issue. I have a 2001 2.5 rwd standard and a few weeks ago the right rear shock mount broke - replaced it and on my way. Yesterday as I took a sharper turn I noticed a pop/clunk from back end and tracked it down in a parking lot by driving in S's and circles and traced it to being the right back wheel. When I have the truck parked and rock the rear right wheel back and forth it has a hitting metal/buckling sound. Truck drives straight as an arrow. not a vehicle expert thanks in advance everyone.

Try removing the tire and the drum, make sure all the brake springs and components are attached, place the drum back on, place the rim back and torque the leg nuts down. See if this makes a difference.
I was pushing on the bumper to make it bounces and when I do it to the rear its pretty solid but the front is still pretty bouncy when pushing down on the front bumper. Maybe tighten down the front ones more?
