I cant find Moog uppers for the life of me. I searched for moog only and those came up, I thought they just neglected to put the name in the description but the price...well you said what I thought.

I am well aware about the different torsion bars but that has nothing to do with ball joints.
And just because you were here a bit longer than some of us doesn't mean you know everything.

I know a lot more than you kiddo, so stop getting your panties in a wad and stop posting incorrect info while you're at it. Half of your posts on this forum are filled with wrong info or just friggin post whoring for no reason whatsoever. Take the time you post on here and work on your truck.

Yeah. haha

So I think I'm gonna put it off for 2 weeks and ask for half of my insurance payment for my B-Day from my parents and get the moog uppers and use the lowers I already bought. They are supposed to match the OE's exactly except for they are serviceable so if I get another 75k out of them I'll be happy...and I'm gonna take care of these by greasing them every other oil change.

Iono if there is a how to for torsion 2wd ball joints but I'll see if I can write one up.

Sorry. You have the wrong guy. I know what I'm talking about most of the time and I do 95% of the work on my truck. Post whoring? Look at my post count. I don't have the amount to be a post *****. What have I posted that was incorrect?

Thanks but I don't need backup. I just don't like being told I don't know anything when the person saying it has no idea who I am.

So I ordered the control arms from Rockauto. I got the next best to the Moogs. The driver's side is done and the passenger's side is torn down. Tomorrow morning I'll be up bright and early to get everything together, get the alignment as close as I can to what it was before, and then find an alignment shop. If I have time before the alignment I'm gonna crank the torsion bars to give 1-1.5" of lift in the front.

Sorry, no pics for the walk through because I started as the sun was going down and my lights kinda suck. However, this was a pretty easy job, it's just a PITA that takes equipment most people dont have. I was lucky that my neighbor had a joint press. A tip, though, if your press is too small to press the joint all the way in, put the ring on the ball joint and jack up the lower control arm with the jack pushing against the ring. Load the suspension all the way then tap the lower control arm down firmly with a hammer.
