Icon8 Torsion bar help!!!!

I was working on my truck today doing an oil change and I was going to crank my torsion bars. I found that both bolts have been bent 90* and are flat against the crossmember. I can heat and straighten them but I will have to replace the bolts. I need to know what size the bolts are? I would just pull one out but then I don't have any way of getting to the store to buy new ones

Go to the ford dealer and tell them what you need.

I wouldn't skimp on those bolts. They have special ends that fit in the torsion keys.

I think I have my old bolts, but shipping would cost more than they are worth. And, they are in storage or else I'd get you the specs.

Did you just try a ranger at the j/y? Because you can pull them off any t-bar explorer.

I tried one ranger and an explored. They are all sitting on the frames making it very difficult to Jack them up. Both I tried were severly rusted underneath. I could get the bolts on the ranger to turn about half a turn but I was using a lot of force... And I'm not the smallest boy on the block... So I gave up lol
