Broken leaf spring - want to lift

I have a 1996 2WD 2.3L Ranger that now has a broken leaf on the rear passenger side. I obliviously need a new leaf pack, but I was thinking that since I want to do a small lift I could buy a kit that comes with new leaf packs. Also, the shocks all around could use replacing. Does anyone have any suggestions on kits? I am hoping to get this as a grad present from the parents, as I am graduating in about a month, so the lower the price the better.

you can get explorer leafs in the rear they will give you 2-3 inches of lift and some lift coils in the front and it should sit pretty level and cost less than 500 with an alignment
