Cheap Suspension Lift
All of you on this forum are very smart I'll give you that, but I'm not one of those people. Is there such a thing as a cheap suspension lift kit? I have a 2002 Ranger Edge 4x2 with a torsion bar front suspension. I know that I can do a torsion bar crank for a gain of around 3 inches up front but I also heard that it messes up alignment. I would like to get a suspension lift so that I can fit 33's. Does this sound stupid because I only have a 2wd? All help is appreciated.

t-bar crank will be good for about 2" max, and yeah your alignment will be goofed up. For about $350-500 you can get a spindle lift, which I recommend. Pro-Comp and Fabtech both make good kits good for about 3.5", and you can crank your t-bars an inch or so without causing too many problems. You'll be able to run 33x12.5s no problem. I ran 33x12.5s on stock suspension for awhile, but i had to trim my bumper and fender flares.
