i think people just like the foxes due to the reputation they have.

I need to find out what coilovers and springs i'll need for a body lifted truck, its probably the same as stock since there is no suspension height difference aside the cranked bars.

same thing, I'd be interested if the price is right....as for putting them in CAD, if those drawings had more info on them I'd do it, but theres really no info to go of of other than basic measurements. (need angles and where the holes are located and such) so no go there.

Man that looks so awesome. I would love the clean look of coilovers vs. Torsion bars so so much.

Yeah that's why I'm gonna take measurements from mine when I pull em off. That's a good rough sketch of the brackets but like you said with no baseline dimensioning it makes it nearly impossible to get those into cad

I will be willing to make them for sure. Shouldnt be too difficult.

Also Trevor be very cautious copying something someone else made. I dont want you getting in to copy write laws.

The drawings I am making will be accurate and include all measurements and angles, but will still be on paper. They also aren't a copy of any brackets in existence, they are my own design. CAD would be much better so if you guys are really going to do it I won't bother finishing mine. I don't have access to those programs.

Use a torrent site and download it and get a crack for it... much too expensive to actually buy if you're barely going to use it. *Disclaimer* I do not condone illegal downloading in any way :) But, it is an option.

were you going to make them and sell them KLC? If so I dont want to jump in line. You are more than welcome to. If you have the drawings and want someone to cut/weld them up I am sure someone can help you with that.

also I can draw them up in a cad program if you want to send me what you have. and i will get them back to you.

I'll definitely take some of these if anybody (Trevor or Zach) is willing to make them. There is certainly a market for them.

No, I was just going to make (actually finish) the drawings so that everyone who wanted coil-over's could easily have the brackets made. That's as far as I was taking it myself. I was just trying to help out since most seemed at a loss since ORW no longer offers their kit. I will send you what I have if you want to make them though.

So if someone wants to draw up the brackets on CAD, cut them out, weld them up, and sell them they are welcome to. I am sure most would prefer that. Like Zach said, just be careful about copying a design.

well if you can finish the paper drawings and upload them here, im sure there are a few guys, myself included that could use those to put them into a CAD program. the ones that were posted need a lot more info before they can be entered into a comp.

Yeah, those were just redrawn by me to clean them up. They were originally drawn by someone else. The drawings I am currently working on aren't even the same design. They are much nicer and would include all needed details. I most likely won't be able to finish them for another couple weeks or so due to work. So it sounds like someone else will probably get the ball rolling faster.

I'd still be grateful and happy if you'd finish the drawing KLC. I don't wanna buy any of them, I don't have access to any equipment like that, but I do know how to fab anything I need. It's your call though..

Okay, I'll plan on finishing them. Once I get the drawings done I'll post them up for anyone who may still need or want them.

If someone else wants to make their own version and sell them you are welcome to.

trepaul: what CAD program are you using? I have used solidworks and now at school they are claiming that Pro\E is now the top of the line drawing program. How do you have access to waterjet? Must be through work? I don't know if any of the drawings I can make will be able to be used for production because they are student edition. I would be happy to draw them up and get you a detail when we get more info on these though. I haven't been back to my dad's shop for awhile to get measurements... and it has been fricken cold and snowy here so haven't been able to get wheels off.

edit: see your not using waterjet my mistake, read too quickly
